Fare Thee Well, Writers!

Come December 31, Caffeinated Press will turn off the lights for the last time.
Get ready: Winter is coming, and so is an onslaught of great literature!
Some folks have noticed that so far in 2018, we’ve seemed rather quiet. Perhaps *too* quiet. So we’re here to offer some behind-the-scenes scoops about our year so far and about what we’ve got planned for the rest of the summer and into the cold-weather months.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and we look forward to a great upcoming year—a year marked by a new emphasis on network building and community growth.

The last day of a year that taxed our collective national consciousness draws to a close. Many of us offer a sigh of relief, cut by a sliver of hope that 2017 will prove to be more tranquil and fulfilling. Or at least, marked by less drama and fewer tragedies.
We’re pleased to announce a general refresh of our entire Web platform. Enjoy!

June 2015 marks the one-year anniversary since Lianne, Brittany, Jennifer, Julie and I filed the articles of incorporation establishing Caffeinated Press with the State of Michigan. Much has happened — e.g., the inaugural volume of the Brewed Awakenings anthology and the corresponding kick-off events at UICA and Schuler Books and Music. And much will happen soon.
The 2015 submission deadline for Brewed Awakenings 2 passed on May 31. We received a final tally of 67 separate submissions by 58 different authors. Sixty of the 67 are eligible for review by our in-house editors.
Caffeinated Press is delighted to welcome submissions for the second volume of Brewed Awakenings, our house anthology.
